Our school is part of the Hawkesbury Learning Community, comprising of Hawkesbury High School and its feeder schools.
These schools work together to provide a dynamic range of high quality learning opportunities for our students and teachers, including the Young Writers Challenge, The Lawrence Hargrave Maths Challenge and Year 5 Leadership opportunities each year. Students from all schools can be involved in music and drama lessons on a weekly basis at the high school and several primary students are members of the Hawkesbury Combined Band.
The Hawkesbury Learning Community provides extensive opportunities for successful student transitions from Kindergarten to Year 12.
The teachers across the schools have a strong network and share in professional learning opportunities and the combined principals meets together each term to enhance links across our community.
Here at Freemans Reach Public School, we are also able to share facilities with Hawkesbury High School and engage in learning opportunities as they arise, such as NAIDOC week.
